Afonso Nilson Barbosa de Souza is a dramaturge and essayist. He is the author of the collections of theatrical texts Little Monologues for Women and Six Brief Texts for Theater Students, and also of several books of dramaturgy. His theatrical texts have been staged by hundreds of professional and student groups in Brazil and Portugal, and also adapted for cinema.
