"Tawfiq Al -Hakim" is a book written by Ismail Adham and Ibrahim Nagy, a critical study, which came in two parts, the first of which was written by Adham, where he presented a literary study in Tawfiq Al -Hakim that depends on the methods of analytical and methodological research. In the second section, Ibrahim Naji dealt with the life of Tawfiq al -Hakim, and reviewed the context of the Arab literary renaissance and its relationship to his appearance. The book presented opinions that were said in Dr. Ismail Adham, in contemporary Arabic literature, then dealt with fictional and theatrical art in modern Arabic literature, then touched on the following: "Tawfiq al -Hakim", his life, his personality, literary works, his opinions. His art in his plays and stories, his effects and writings, his psychological life, from his books- his influence. Ismail Adham says at the beginning of the book: The Arab is the lack of energy on the impartiality of the self, and made the objective phenomena in its nature. In his present, things are not manifested in their historical development, and for this the story and theatrical were strange to the art of Arabs.
