Autorenporträt
Susan B. Goldstein received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Hawaii while a grantee of the East West Center. She is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Redlands, U.S.A., where she teaches Cross-Cultural Psychology, and Study Abroad Pre-Departure and Re-entry Courses. Her research and publications have focused on study abroad, intercultural attitudes, social justice allies, stigma, and strategies for diversifying the psychology curriculum.

Susan Goldstein's Teaching Culture and Psychology: Pedagogical Strategies, Instructor Resources, and Student Activities is the fourth edition of her popular activities book. In this expanded version, she has added an excellent section for instructors, providing important pedagogical context for the ninety student activities. Those activities include clear prompts and instructions, as well as references that document the research underlying each student experience. The book will be useful not only for courses devoted to culture and psychology, but also for such classes as introductory psychology in the hands of instructors who wish to integrate cultural content across the curriculum. For instructors who strive to bring together cultural concepts with excellence in teaching, this book will be a useful, valuable new resource.
