This book deals with teaching strategies for people with disabilities, and it has been taken into account that it should be in line with the educational progress that we are witnessing in the current era, especially with the emergence of those who call for the necessity of taking into account the rights of people with disabilities, knowing their appropriate teaching and learning methods, and ways to guide them and their families in both aspects of teaching and learning. In preparing the book, the combination of theory and practice was taken into account, by specifying the procedural steps for these strategies with applied models and self-activities. The book included five chapters, the first chapter dealing with people with disabilities, in terms of the concept, the causes of disability among some groups, their rights, and the foundations of caring for and rehabilitating learners with disabilities. Then the second chapter presented the classifications and categories of people with disabilities, and the third chapter dealt with an important issue, namely the tasks and roles of a teacher of people with disabilities, the foundations and standards for his preparation, the qualities of a teacher of people with disabilities, the most important educational competencies necessary for a teacher of people with disabilities, and some of the educational methods that he can use in educating people with disabilities in their categories. The fourth chapter dealt with definitions of a group of educational and psychological terms and concepts related to people with disabilities in a comprehensive scientific picture. Chapter Five presents the necessary educational considerations when employing teaching strategies in educating people with disabilities.
