Autorenporträt
Anthony M. Pagano, Ph.D. is Director of the Center for Supply Chain Management and Logistics and an Associate Professor of Management at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is author or coauthor of over 150 books, articles, technical reports, and papers presented at professional meetings. In 2006, he served as President of the Transportation Research Forum, one of the oldest transportation professional organizations in the US. He also was the co-founder and Co-General Editor of the Journal of the Transportation Research Forum, which publishes articles of interest to academics, policy makers and practitioners and has been ranked ninth in the field of US and international transportation related journals by a panel of academic researchers. He teaches courses in supply chain and logistics, transportation economics and public policy, and international business. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University.Matthew Liotine, Ph.D. is a renowned expert in the field of operations and supply chain data science. His prime research interest is in the area of supply chain risk and technology. He teaches courses in operations and supply chain management, enterprise resource planning, analytics, quality control and enterprise information systems. In prior roles, he served in several professional positions at AT&T Bell Laboratories, Union Carbide and as an industry consultant. He is the recipient of several awards, including the ISACA Certificate of Excellence Award, AT&T Network Architecture and Quality Awards, the UIC Teaching Recognition Award, and is a UIC Teaching Learning Scholar. He is the former Chicago region president of INFORMS. He holds a Ph.D. in engineering and operations research from Princeton University. He has several professional certifications, including an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
