Damien Kingsbury is the Director of the Centre for Citizenship, Development and Human Rights, Deakin University, Australia. He has authored/edited a number of books, including: Sri Lanka and the Responsibility to Protect: Politics, ethnicity, genocide (Routledge 2011), East Timor: The Price of Liberty (2009), International Development: Issues and Challenges (2008, 2012) and Political Development (Routledge, 2007). Costas Laoutides is a Lecturer in International Relations, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Deakin University, Australia. He is author of Self-Determination and Collective Responsibility in the Secessionist Struggle (forthcoming).
