She is currently the member of several women's groups and previously serves as the Finance Chair for the Sacramento County Bar Association and the Sacramento Children's Receiving Home. Melissa and her husband Eric enjoy working together and live in Sacramento with their youngest son and dog. They are also proud parents to a US Marine.
