Autorenporträt

Raquel Solomon was born and raised in Bakersfield, California and moved to Sacramento, California in the early 1990's where she began life as single mother. In 2005, Raquel founded an organization that mentors young girls called "Foundation TAMARA," located in Sacramento, California. Then a mother of two young daughters' she had always felt the need to empower young women with positivity and agrees that today's youth (male or female) should have a person to go for empowerment, encouragement and uplifting. For more than 15 years Raquel has used writing as a form of therapy to cope with heartbreak and unhappiness from failed relationships that made her question her own self-worth which led her to her first novel "Lies Men Tell." Now on her second book Raquel's shares with us the fun that being a grandmother has brought her. Raquel now a mother of two adult daughters Taylor and Madison and a grandmother of one little handsome boy Jermarie Pierre Johnson, Jr. takes us on the adventures of Buttercup and Granny.
