Autorenporträt
A birth defect that affected her spine but not her mind, Katherine Magnoli has spent the past thirty-one years viewing the world from her chair. This unique perspective of people, places, and things makes her the perfect author to teach kids the challenges facing those with disabilities. Over the last three years, Katherine has proven this to be true by visiting numerous schools to read her heartwarming tales and talk to kids about the importance of kindness toward those who are physically different. When Katherine is not writing, she is attending classes at Miami Dade College School of Education, where she is successfully working on her bachelor's degree in exceptional student education. She also was honored to take part in the Emerging Transformational Leadership Program of University of Miami in late 2012 to mid-2013. Recently Katherine has been published in Chicken Soup for the Soul: Think Possible, out in stores October 6, 2015. In her spare time, Katherine enjoys helping friends and family in need. Originally from the suburbs of New York, Katherine lives in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.
