The Adventures of Monty & Tonty was originally created to help Elaine's kids get to sleep. Monty was the family dog and to make the story interesting the ficticious character of Tonty was added, she was Monty's best friend. Each story starts and finishes in the same way. Monty is lying in his garden after watching his family leave for work and school. It is not long before Tonty comes by and the dogs embark on an adventure together. The stories always end with Monty jumping back over the fence into his garden just before his family arrive back home. In one chapter the dogs take a rocket to a moon made of cheese - they love cheese and in another find themselves in strange underground world full of sleepy sea creatures. The stories are quirky, fun and exciting and will delight the reader. As an added bonus all these bedtime stories have embedded suggestions within to help promote sleep.

Designed to be read to younger kids or for older kids 7+ to read by themserlves.

Hello, I am Elaine Martin. I run my own business as a Psychotherapist in Brisbane Australia. I spend a few days each week seeing clients on all sorts of emtional issues and on the other days you will find me creating new stories for both youtube and my SleepforKids app.

I was born in Scotland and immigrated to Australia in 1980. I completed a degree in business and built a successful career in HR (Human Resources) spanning 20 years.

In 2008 I decided to go back to study and over the next few years completed qualifications in both Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy. Like many things the skill is in the doing and in 2009 I set up my business MindOverMatter.

Today I specialise mainly in the areas of anxiety, stress and fear working with both adults and children.

About 4 years ago I set up a Youtube Channel where I share my work with people around the world. Using a mix of Hypnosis and Guided Meditation I have created a library of content aimed at helping my listeners becomes healthier and happier in their lives.

Although my channel initially catered for all listeners my primary focus now is children and sleep. In 2020 I exceeded 23,000 subscribers with more than 6 million views and I get a tremendous amount of joy sharing my work with those in need around the globe. In 2019 I developed an App called Sleep for Kids which today is available on both IOS and Android and free to download. This app is all about kids sleep.

Outside of work I am an artist (oil painter), writer and a lover of travel. I have an amazing husband who is both my soulmate and business partner as well as two grown up sons. We all live in Brisbane, Australia.
