In this page-turning sci-fi fantasy, Thiou lives on an unknown planet far away that is inhabited by many different tribes. Thiou belongs to the Alarik tribe, and his family is the oldest in all the villages. The Alarik are warriors and hunters, and they know all the secrets of the wild jungles where they live, as well as all the hidden passages through the rivers. Thiou's village is attacked by an enemy guerrilla force that destroys everything, and many innocent people are killed. Bad things happen after the enemy general takes control of the Alarik villages. Thiou is forced to train his people to become better fighters and hunters. His parents have taught him to stay strong and to keep his head up no matter how bad things can get in life. So although Thiou pretends to follow the general's orders, he is really planning a daring escape.

Liegmy "Lee" Triana is a Cuban-born artist who currently lives in Miami, Florida. At the young age of eleven he came to the U.S., leaving behind his parents, brothers, and small sister. He has an associates degree in drafting and graphic design. For over 20 years, he has worked as an artist, painting with acrylic, oil, watercolor, and spray paint. He is also a professional tattoo artist with over 17 years of experience. His hope is to be known for his art and for motivating others to do good in life. He is married with four kids.
