Lugthea is a talented ten-year-old girl who has a great passion for reading, writing, and drawing. She likes to spend her spare time in her room and always has books, paper, and pencils by her side. Lugthea already wrote four children's stories: The Mermaid Princess, The Ant That Jumped Over a Dog, The Teacher That Flew Out of Her Desk, and The Lost Puppy. Additionally, Lugthea plays piano and violin. She also performs ballet and African dance. The Amazing Adventures of Spear and Shadow is her first juvenile story book published. She stated that writing this book is an exciting, joyful, and fun experience and will be helpful to teach her young readers about the power of companionship, love, and mutual support. Lugthea is a fourth grader at Heritage Prep Baptist School in Orlando, Florida. Her dream is to become a well-known fiction and nonfiction writer and author.
