First, the sanctuaries such as the altar, the ark of the covenant, the lampstand, the altar of burnt offering and the priesthood must be consecrated and sanctified by the oil. The anointing oil must never be used for private purposes. I made the anointing oil myself to get a clearer idea of what the oil was really like. The anointing oil was expensive back then and its ingredients were hard to come by. In the ingredients and the process of making it, I discovered God's principles for our lives. I connected these teachings to the Beatitudes of Jesus. Because God does not want to make anointing oil, but to create new hearts in us.
