Autorenporträt
Exploration of how truth, or the lack of it, drives relationships is at the core of Quincy Bragg's writing. He has written poetry, short stories, and now "the ant farm" is his first published novel. A native of Los Angeles, Quincy grew up in Canada but returned to live permanently in California. Childhood visits to the La Brea Tar Pits in Los Angeles sparked his lifelong interest in natural history and conservation. Later visits, with his own children, contributed background for the ice age animals in "the ant farm". He now lives near San Francisco amid the boom of bio-science and genetic engineering, but keeps a sensible distance. Writing, sailing on San Francisco Bay, and visiting the grandchildren keep him busy. Follow him on Facebook at Author Quincy Bragg or on Goodreads.
