Hippolytus of Rome was not a Roman, but a father of the Church of Greek origin that sojourned there long enough to associate his name to the western capital of Christendom.
He lived between 170 and 236 AD. This gives special authority and meaning to his writings along with the fact that he was a disciple of Irenaeus of Lyon, who in turn was a disciple of Polycarp. The latter, as it is well known to the students of early Christian writers, knew the apostle John in person.
The three works I present here are particularly significant to me. They were of great help and personal edification during my studies on Bible prophecies and on the Deity of Christ.
I am sure they will be a blessing to those who will read them too.
