Autorenporträt
Rev. William H. Carey, a native of Brooklyn, NY, was introduced to biblical truth at the age of 14 by an Apostolic minister in the city of Schenectady. Ordained at 23, he assisted in founding new churches in various parts of the US, and was pastor of Lighthouse Apostolic Church in Schenectady from 1984 to 1997. Brother Carey wrote the ministerial training curriculum for Apostolic Institute of Ministry, the educational division of Apostolic Restoration Mission, which is currently being used by Dove College, Sydney, NSW, Australia. He is the author of numerous tracts and books. Brother Carey taught Hebrew, beginning Greek and ministerial training for over twenty years. In 2003, he completed a translation of the New Testament into modern English. He has served as Presbyter of two Apostolic bodies, beginning in 1980, retiring from active ministry in 2005. Brother Carey resides in Ferndale, MI.
