Low sugar diets, for example, Atkins have consistently been dubious, yet with the new flood of new exploration and exposure, the contention is currently seething more blazing than any time in recent memory. One feature in the San Francisco Chronicle said that the fight between the low and high carbers had gotten so warmed since mid 2002 that "Blades had been drawn."

Then, at that point, in July of 2002, the debate arrived at an untouched high when the New York Times Magazine distributed an exposition by Gary Taubes named, "Imagine a scenario in which everything's been a huge falsehood?" The article proposed that new exploration was currently demonstrating the late Dr. Atkins had been correct from the start.
