He was the Dean of the school of transportation engineering, HUST from 2014 to April 2021. Dr. Le has conducted national research projects and international collaboration projects regarding internal combustion engines, fuels for IC engines, conventional and alternative power source vehicles; related policies on low-carbon transport, in general, and electric vehicles development, in particular. Dr. PHAM Van-Sang obtained his Aerospace Engineer degree at Hanoi University of Technology in 2005. He then joined the Singapore-MIT Alliance (NUS, Singapore) for a Ph.D. degree in Computational Engineering, obtained in 2012. Dr. Pham did his postdoctoral research in the Research Laboratory of Electronics of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, USA) from 2012-2014. From 2015, Dr. Pham joined Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST, Vietnam). Dr. Pham's research activities are in the fields of Numerical Methods (Finite Volume, Boundary Element, Immersed Boundary), Computational Fluid Dynamics, Microfluidics (Nonlinear Electrokinetic, Electroconvection, Inertial Sorting), Desalination Technologies (Ion-concentration Polarization, Electrodialysis), and Numerical Optimization Methods for Ship Hydrodynamic Design. Dr. Minh-Quy LE obtained his BS, MS, and Ph.D. in mechanical engineering in 1995 from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (Viet Nam), in 1997 from the University of Poitiers (France), and 2004 from Kyungpook National University (Republic of Korea), respectively. He has worked as a postdoctoral fellow and visiting scholar at various Universities including the Technical University of Dresden, Virginia Tech (USA), University of Tokyo (Japan), Weimar BauhausUniversity (Germany). He is currently a professor at the school of mechanical engineering, Hanoi University of Science and Technology. His research interests include computational materials science, solid mechanics, and nanomechanics. Dr. Hoang-Luong PHAM is thethe former Vice-President of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST) and the current Director of the Vietnam-Japan International Institute for Science of Technology (VJIIST). He is also a Senior Lecturer at the School of Heat Engineering and Refrigeration (SHEER) of HUST. Graduating from HUST in 1984 with Engineer's degree in Thermal Power Engineering, he received Master's and Ph.D.'s degrees in Energy Technology from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT, Thailand) and the National Polytechnique Institute of Toulouse (INPT, France) in 1992 and 1996, respectively. During 1997-2001, he was appointed as Affiliated Faculty and Research Specialist in the Energy Program of AIT. His main academic trainingand scientific research interests are Clean Coal and Bioenergy Technologies, Energy Efficiency, Life Cycle Assessment of Energy Technologies, and Energy Planning. During 2016-2020, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang-Luong PHAM had been serving as Deputy Chairman of Vietnam Key Science and Technology Program "Applied Research and Development of Energy Technology" (KC.05/16-20). Being the Editor-in-Chief of Thermal Energy Review, he has so far generated over 40 scientific papers of which 20 were published in International Journal of Energy Research, Energy - The International Journal, Biomass and Bioenergy, Journal of Sustainable Energy and Environment, and in other International Workshop Proceedings on Renewables.
