Autorenporträt
Author Marjorie Mogonye was born and spent much of her childhood in Rockport, Texas, on the Live Oak Peninsula. Her journey then took her to Elgin, Texas where she graduated from high school and eventually married her husband, Charlie Mogonye. Marjorie, Charlie and their son Dale, lived on the family ranch for a number of years, enjoying the simple things in life like flower gardening, cooking, and spending time with family. Marjorie worked twenty-two years for the United States Treasury Department. Trough the years, Marjorie enjoyed teaching Bible and Sunday school at her church, studying other cultures, traveling and writing. She is the proud grandmother to three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Bringing history to life through thoughtful fictional stories has driven Marjorie's passion for writing and sharing these works with audiences around the world.
