His professional background includes being a Federal, State, and Local Public Affairs Officer, U.S. Coast Guard Equal Rights and Diversity Liason to the Department of Defense, and DHS Tribal Liason. Highlights and lowlights include On-Site Media Officer duties for the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, Miracle on the Hudson, US Airways Flight 1549, various hurricanes, and DHS National Special Security Events including Republican, Democratic Conventions, and the Olympics.David Wright is a seven-time All-Star third baseman who played 14 seasons in the Major Leagues and voted the "Face of MLB." He retired as the team's fourth captain and the franchise leader in hits, runs, and RBIs. He is a special advisor in the Met's Front Office.
