Autorenporträt
Carmen Melendez was born and raised in the mountain town of Comerio, in the most beautiful island paradise of Puerto Rico. Growing up she was fascinated with the books her "titi Millin" shared with her. From there her passion for writing was born. In her 20's she moved to California where she resides. Carmen considers her family to be the most important. From experiences raising her daughters, "The Beautiful Mermaids" series was created.
