Autorenporträt

Abi Ro, was born in 1976 in Barranquilla, the capital of the department of Atlántico, in the Caribbean region of northern Colombia. His real name is:

Abimael Jose Romero Martinez.

He grew up with his family. His parents: Carlos José Romero Prestán and Alix Estela Martínez Berdugo.

He is the second of four siblings and one adopted. His father was a professional accountant and lawyer and his mother a nurse who loved music and the arts.

Father of three children, from two marriages. He is currently based in the United States, where he lives with his second wife and two of their children.

Since he was a child, his mother cultivated his love for art, painting and writing. When he finished his baccalaureate, he studied architecture, graduating as a professional in 2001.

From there, he dedicated himself to working on his career, while also practicing the art of painting and writing in his spare time.
