The Blank Page On May 8th, 2021, I was sitting next to my grandpa in ICU on the break of losing the one man who called me "His sweet Child". At that moment my feelings, my emotions and struggles came up to the surface. I had some big shoes to fill in; but I did not realize those shoes were filled in already. Grandpa filled those shoes in for me, and if anyone can see what love can do for a person it is to make them feel wanted. When Grandpa passed away on May 10th, 2021, he reminded me you can always start over. The Blank Page is a reminder when we go through these emotional phases in our lives, and in people's lives it is to make us alive and well. We tend to hide our emotions but our feelings make us part of who we are.

Stepheny Beecher Kennison Her gift for writing came from her passion from reading, from learning and from wanting to express herself. She has a Bachelor's in criminal justice from University of Phoenix, she is an Artist, and picked up poetry at a young age. She was raised in Kerrville, Texas but lives in San Angelo with her family and lots of pets. After losing her grandpa she decided writing was her only way to influence others in a positive way. Her mission is to challenge women and men to express themselves in all phases of their lives.
