H. Wakefield is a lifelong resident of the beautiful state of Maine. She shares her home with her dog Miss Joy, a miniature Australian Shepherd. Because of her love for the outdoors, Maine is the ideal environment for the pursuit of her hobbies. She enjoys RV'ing, kayaking, fishing, painting, gardening, and writing. Due to her unlimited energy and boundless curiosity, it has been mentioned she would be the ideal 'poster child' for geriatric ADHD. She enjoys life, being active and engaging with interesting folks and her church. She comes from a family of storytellers with her younger sister being a published author.
