Jason is just out of high school when he discovers he has the ability to leave his body. After achieving an intense out of body experience, he encounters a luminous female entity that says to him, "This is how it is!" Believing she is no more than a fantasy, Jason is shocked to discover his dream girl, Tamara, in his small town of Hope, Alabama. Jason starts having horrible visions, which correlate with the arrival of Beliah, author of Witchcraft: A Study into the Myth, in Hope for a book signing. Beliah is much more than he seems, and Jason soon comes to realize Tamara is there in pursuit of this so-called author who is actually a homicidal, demonic sorcerer. While reeking havoc and destruction wherever he goes, Beliah's only purpose is total domination. Together, Jason and Tamara must somehow defeat this monster whose powers are greater than either of them.

Cryton Daehraj is an eccentric, neurotic, slightly deranged poet-philosopher with a lifetime interest in the occult, UFO's and unexplained mysteries, all of which he has experienced to one degree or another. He is the author of several novels and works of non-fiction, mostly dealing with religious and occult themes. Widely read and conversant in the realm of UFO's, conspiracy theories and spiritual realities, Cryton spends his time with his wife of 30 years, his dog, cat, six chickens and two goats on their 20-acre mini-farm living in a self-built log cabin deep in the forests of the Midwest.
