Cyrill Wyrsch, geboren 1988 in Sarnen (Schweiz), begeisterte sich bereits als Kind für Fantasie- und Abenteuergeschichten sowie für die Epoche des Mittelalters. Sein stetiges Fernweh ließ ihn dutzende Länder bereisen ¿ ob zu Fuß durch den Osten Europas, mit dem Offroader durch die Weiten Australiens oder mit dem Kanu in der Wildnis Kanadas. Nach einer Lehre in der Baubranche wechselte er für mehrere Jahre in den Sicherheitsdienst und arbeitet heute als selbstständiger Ernährungstherapeut, während seine zweite Leidenschaft dem Schreiben gilt. Nach ¿Das dunkle Tor¿ ist dies bereits die zweite Veröffentlichung des Autors im novum Verlag.
