Autorenporträt
Nancy Elizabeth Pharr is a wife and mother of two children. She is a native of Atlanta, and she received her BA in English Literature from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA in 1987. She always wanted to write a book, but it was not until a few years ago when her own children inspired her that she actually began writing children's books.

An important aspect of her writing and her life is that she wants to inspire her children, and all children, to be the best that they can possibly be - she knows that with God's help, they can be

.

When she was a little girl, her mother taught her a little poem that went something like this, "Good better best, never let it rest, until the good is better and the better is best!" That little poem made a big impact on her life, and she always seems to go back to it in her mind... Drawing on that same premise, her desire is for her children's books to inspire little ones the way that poem inspired her years ago. She feels that children need to be made aware of, at an early age, the importance of setting priorities and keeping God first in their lives.
