Mary Buckley is Visiting Fellow at Hughes Hall, Cambridge. She has written on Soviet ideology, gender, state and society under Gorbachev, Stalinism, Russian domestic and foreign policy, terrorism and human trafficking. Robert Singh is Professor of Politics and Head of the School of Politics and Sociology at Birkbeck College, University of London. His research interests are in the field of domestic US politics and the politics of US foreign policy.
