In the Caretaker, a realistic drama, a retired financial consultant once promised he'd
protect and care for the wildlife park which his late grandfather donated to the small
urban city of Aspen Grove.
A very aggressive developer from Hollis Homes chooses part of the same park for his
next multibuilding high-end condo complex. His prediction of increased employment and
tax money for the city stirs unexpected support.
Can the normally shy mild-mannered grandson convince the city's decision makers to
continue to honor the park's protected status?
Young adult readers looking for hope in the future need to read this book.
