Although Mira is usually spunky and outgoing, she has been withdrawn for a few months and so, he decides to get to the bottom of things. Including hers.

When Douglas bumps into Mira in the kitchen at the school, where she also lives, they have a chat during an off-period, one afternoon. Mira then invites him to her bower a few times, where she slowly opens up; not just her soul, but also her body, while they are on it.

In the last chapter here, his muse Nguyet and Douglas are invited to a small birthday party at Nga's house, together with two more young folks. Since he had deflowered the charmingly dopey maiden a few months back, he is keen on another loin twirl, but will that work out, with all the others present?

As varied as all the stories are, they have one theme in common: Ultimately, they are life-affirming efforts on the part of the Vietnamese women to liberate themselves from the rigid moral norms of their society. All light-hearted novellas are told in a very revealing, tongue-in-cheek manner and, in passing, offer glimpses into Vietnamese culture. Without taboos, all episodes explore the sources and dynamic of erotic desire and lure the reader under the spell of an exotic world.

The author of this extensive series of erotic stories has been enjoying Southeast Asia for ten years now. After living in Germany and the U.S. for most of his life, Douglas ventured in the opposite direction in 2010: first, he taught at a community college in the South Seas for three years, before settling in Vietnam. Naturally, his undying love for young Southeast Asian women is reflected in his work.
