Autorenporträt
Ann-Marie shares her home and life with Buffo, her husband of 20+ years and their furry family of cats. On any given day they reside in New York and Virginia Beach. (Inside joke) She is a Nurse, Reiki Master, Reflexologist, Writer and Poet. But her favorite label, the one she is most proud of is: MUCH HEALED BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR! At the time of this writing, she is an 8+ year survivor! She is a passionate HIV/AIDS, Civil Rights and Breast Cancer advocate. Ann-Marie has learned firsthand that even with health insurance coverage there are unexpected, out of pocket expenses and a severe lack of incoming monies due to missed work. And unfortunately, there are very few charitable funds that offer financial assistance to the survivor for basic expenses. Her lifes mission is to change this dynamic and to become a channel of blessings and healing energy to other survivors and their caregivers. Hoping to make good on a promise made to herself all those many years ago when first diagnosed, proceeds from the sale of this book will help Ann-Marie start a non-profit charitable fund that will offer direct financial assistance to other survivors.
