M.C. Hobbs is a professional writer with almost 30 books to his name, though The Chevalier is his debut novel. A keen supporter of creative writing groups, and a prolific organiser of pop-up literary events, he has recently become Joint Writer-in-Residence at Preston Community Library, Wembley. He lives in West London with his wife and three children.
