Autorenporträt
Eugenio Dávila is originally from Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. He combined his high school studies with drawing and painting classes with private teachers, which he continued upon entering the Faculty of Medicine at the Autonomous University of Nuevo León. He has participated in multiple collective exhibitions in Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mexico City, and in Texas. He has made incursions into photography and literature, writing poetry and children's stories. In 2012, he published his first story, The Children of Bothell (original Spanish title: Los Niños de Bothell) with illustrations done by himself. Part I of the book, which contains twenty-three illustrations, was positively received. He currently works as a family doctor within the Mexican public health system (IMSS).
