He goes on the road and finds himself in the small town of Blue River. He gets a job as a dishwasher in the local restaurant. He hears that one of the waitress's son is in the hospital needing a special surgery. He does everything he can to make it happen. He falls in love with the waitress, Mary, and her son. The setting is Christmas in this beautiful town. The snow and the carols make the mood very festive. He helps several people in the town including the Mayor and the Sheriff. His life changes for the better.

Autorenporträt

S.J. Bowen is a retired law enforcement officer with almost 30 years of service. Writing has helped him to cope with the pressures of the job. He has a Masters in Business management and has taught law enforcement classes at the local college. When he is not writing he is camping and fly fishing, now living in Idaho. He volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and loves wood working. Two more fictions are in the works and a behind the scenes look at the Justice System.
