Autorenporträt
Karl-Heinz Wickermann wurde 1934 in Bochum geboren. Er wuchs in Münster in Westfalen auf, die Zeit vom Ende des Krieges bis 1950 verbrachte er in einer westdeutschen Kleinstadt. Von da an lebt er in Bochum. Wickermann trat 1954 in den Polizeidienst des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen ein und war bis 1994 in unterschiedlichen Funktionen im Ruhrgebiet (Duisburg, Dortmund und Bochum), zuletzt als Erster Hauptkommissar, tätig. In den Jahren 1976 bis 1995 war er Mitglied der ¿Literarischen Werkstatt Herne¿ (Vereinigung von Jungautoren u. A. mit Volker W. Degener und literarisch interessierten Menschen). Er ist außerdem Verfasser unterschiedlicher Kurzgeschichten und Essays, u. a. in der Anthologie: ¿Mein Land ist eine feste Burg ¿ Neue Texte zur Lage in der BRD¿, erschienen im Verlag Fox Produktion.
