If organizations understood that women perceive discrimination and what success means for them, economic growth could be achieved. This work offers an approach to deal with such difficulties. After all, the goal of every company should be to strive for equal opportunities for female and male employees in order to enable women to pursue a successful career. By reducing perceived gender discrimination, women are not discouraged from applying for specific jobs anymore and women can prove their added value to an organization as a whole. Discrimination consists of treating people differently from others based primarily on membership in a social group. In the following I will discuss perceived gender discrimination on the levels: application process, working life and female executives and I will talk about actions in order to deal with.
