Whenever I tell people I'm a copywriter, the second thing they usually ask (after "Ah ok, so...um...what is that?") is: How did you get started?
Well, I did by consuming dozens of books, hundreds of blog posts and a few online courses.
But, in retrospect, was that the optimal way?
I can't speak for all copywriters, but I don't believe it a stretch to say there was no definitive guide for us to follow when we were starting out.
I liked Ogilvy.
I liked Bly.
I liked Kennedy.
I liked Halbert.
I liked Caples.
That said, I would've much rather had just ONE resource that was all-inclusive, up-to-date, and wasn't the length of a novel.
That is why I wrote The Copywriting Manifesto.
It is the mentor I wish I had when I was starting out.
And I hope it does for you what I can only imagine it would have for me.
