Dr. Mustafa Al-Feki has a long history in both political and cultural life. In the academic field, he taught political science for many years at the American University in Cairo, then assumed the presidency of the British University in Egypt during the first three years of its establishment. In the political field, he served as Egypt's ambassador to Austria and a number of other foreign countries. He was also Egypt's delegate to the International Atomic Energy Agency, then its permanent delegate to the Arab League. In recent years, his activities have focused on parliamentary work and international conferences. He served as Chairman of the Parliament's Foreign Relations Committee for ten years. He devoted his life to two basic issues: The first is the issue of intellectual and political reform, and stopping all forms of discrimination against minorities in society. The second is about the Arab issue and the concept of unity in its contemporary context. On the career level, Dr. Mustafa Al-Feki held the position of Secretary to the President of the Egyptian Republic for Information, and Director of the Institute of Diplomatic Studies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, until he assumed the position of First Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and in 2017, His Excellency served as Director of the Library of Alexandria. He headed the Egyptian-Austrian Friendship Society in the past ten years, and was a member of the National Council for Human Rights, the Writers' Union, the Egyptian Scientific Academy, which was founded in 1798, and the Supreme Council of Culture. Egypt officially nominated him for the position of Secretary-General of the League of Arab States in 2011. Dr. Mustafa received Al-Fiqi received a number of medals. He also received the "Nile Higher" Award in Social Sciences in 2010, the "State Appreciation Award" in Social Sciences in 2003, and the "State Encouragement Award" in Political Sciences in 1993. He also received dozens of medals and medals from a large number of Arab and foreign countries. He has more than thirty-six books in the fields of politics, thought and culture.
