The author,''Inspired'' has spent decades educating and advocating for children and adults with special needs in public and private schools in multiple states. Now semi-retired she supervises future special education teachers.'' Inspired'' adopted a five year old child diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome from a country notorious for alcohol abuse. Spending decades advocating for her son she now speaks at various''al- anon and nar- anon''venues delivering the message of hope to those afflicted with drug/alcohol abuse.
