It's a book of poems written while in exile for four months from my home due to storm damage. I was reading Dante's Inferno and began imagining a correspondence between Dante's wanderings and my own. Except "The Dips" doesn't have an axe to grind. Imagine a poet without an axe to grind. It feels like the man's last look around.
