A Human female and a Romulan female are thrust together into a turmoil that is leading the Romulan Empire and the Federation into war. They must find a way to avoid such a catastrophe. And, they must try to understand the relationship they find themselves in. The forces seeking to impale their heads onto sharp pointed sticks are relentless. Trust in each other will be all the two females have.
This story is set in the universe that is Star Trek The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Voyager. This part of the Universe though is not bounded by the principles of StarFleet nor even the rules of Romulus.
