The dragons of The Valley were in my mind listening... The next scene was just as disturbing as the previous ones but in a more transcendental way, it was a Being, impressive, awesome and daunting. Who he was I had yet to find out, but in my heart, it seemed like he was a big piece of the puzzle I was trying to understand. He blazed with an inner fire which made him glow like a morning star. His enemies fled before him and the blade in his hands was a torrent of light which burned them away. The air in the room shimmered with the power of this weapon as its voice floated out and into my mind. An inexplicable crimson fire flooded through my arms, sweeping away everything before it. I felt the magic of the sword fill me, felt it sheathe me in the armor of its power and turn me indestructible. It exploded through me in a wild euphoric rush, a crimson energy which turned my blood to fire and my heart to ice. Then my perturbation began to cause the magical energies within me to build, unbidden, they rose exponentially on their own, a core of fire that would not stay quenched. I let it come, knowing the futility of trying to stop it, realizing there was no other choice.
