Autorenporträt
Heinrich Gaube wurde 1956 in Wien geboren. Er besuchte 4 Jahre Volksschule und 4 Jahre Hauptschule und absolvierte danach eine Lehre zum Tischler. Es folgten Tätigkeiten als Berufskraftfahrer, Kinderbetreuer und Masseur. Gaube ist seit seiner Kindheit ein begeisterter Sportler und betreibt den Wettkampfsport Rudern als Leistungssport. Zu seinen Lieblingsaktivitäten gehören neben seiner großen Liebe ¿ dem Rudern ¿ Radfahren und Bergwandern. Eine seine Stärken ist sein großes Durchhaltevermögen, wie auch dieses Buch zeigt. Der Autor lebt mit seiner Tochter und zwei Hunden in einem Haus am Rande von Wien. Der Vermisstenfall Elisabeth ist der Versuch, die vergangenen 20 Jahre seines Lebens aufzuarbeiten.
