A short story to be told to young children about an Enchanted Lake that was in danger of disappearing due to the human voracity that had contaminated its waters and allowed less and less water flow to pass through its feeder river.

Due to the beautiful spirit that inhabited it, this sacred lake transmitted with its presence qualities of emotional and spiritual healing to all those who lived near it, plants, animals, and humans included.

To make matters worse, the region where the lake was located was suffering the worst drought in its history and the rain season that was the only thing that kept it alive did not appear at all.

The Enchanted Lake was in obvious danger of dying and disappearing; if that happened, its divine spirit would separate from it.

When all seemed lost, a group of boys and girls were alerted by a magical tree that they sometimes visited in the mountains bordering the lake, about the dire situation of this sacred body of water and asked for their help in healing the lake on behalf of all the natural kingdoms because the magic tree knew that the faith, innocence and purity of the boys and girls were able to help her.

The children, aware of their responsibility, began an adventure that involved their parents, fishermen from the region, elders' guardians of the lake and a beautiful mythical woman and powerful intercessor between heaven and earth, who inhabited the Enchanted Lake.

All this to help heal their beloved lake and fulfill the task of the magical tree of the mountains.

The author even offers some explanations that may seem implausible to explain the action of some natural elements in his story but those are true.
