Trying all the time to live the life of a man tormented her. So she eventually decides to tell her spouse and she is rejected by her family. So, more trauma is introduced to her life. Thankfully, her doctor is very supportive of her and manages to have the UK National Health Service commit funds for Gender Reassignment Surgery. Subsequently, the surgery she is to undergo, unknown to Claire, is the start of yet more trauma.

The author Bella Waxman was born in February 1940, in Leeds, Yorkshire. In her professional life she has worked as Architect, Building Industry Sales & Management, and Real Estate Secretary. She remains Single. Her favorite activities are writing, painting, embroidery, and walking. She has special skills in design, writing, problem solving, and management. She has written many professional reports and studies, magazine articles. She is the editor of various publications, book reviews, and academic papers. She is a short story writer and on-line magazine editor. Her previous publications were all non-fiction. Bella has spent a lifetime writing. From her first crime thriller at age 14 she went on to write many short stories for women's magazines and had six of her plays produced. Having been an actor and studied dialogue, she now turns her skills to writing her third novel. Bella now lives in Caithness, Highland and is a member of her local writers group.
