Environmental issues and questions of global change are now firmly established on the international political agenda. "The Environment and International Relations" takes a longer view of the relevance of the different theoretical approaches current in international relations, to the study of global environmental change, rather than the more familiar case-study approach. The volume provides a wide ranging survey of the current treatment of environmental issues in International Relations. A range of key international processes are considered: from the formulation of issues through to the monitoring and implementation of international agreement.
