President Kennedy was trying to find a way out of the Cuban Missile Crisis without recourse to war. These nuclear bombs were so powerful that just one could destroy a city.

The US armed forces were confident about attacking the Soviet Union in one all-out nuclear war, certain they would win, especially if they struck without warning. President Kennedy was doubtful about their advice and motives, cautious after they told him similar gung-ho things about the failed Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba. This is the story of the Cuban Missile Crisis, the politics, the threats, the blackmail; not just the facts, but the occult events that influenced the decision to prepare for war with the Soviet Union. The radical right-wing newspaper, "The White Nation" was promoting nuclear war, segregation, and a return to the worst days of hatred and violence.
