Érico Esteves Duarte is Professor of Strategic Studies and International Relations at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He previously held visiting fellow positions in the Institute for International Relations of Mozambique (2016), Corbett Centre for Maritime Policy Studies of the King’s College at Shrivenham (2016), Institute for Peace Studies and Security Policy at Hamburg University (2015), and the 2013 Rui Barbosa Chair at the University of Leiden.
