What would you do if you uncovered the most amazing fashion show on earth?

Tulio the scientist paddles deep into the Amazon jungle in search of great discoveries. But what he stumbles upon is even more fantastic than he could ever imagine. But how do you prove you saw something amazing these days without the help of a camera or smartphone?

The Feather Necklace is inspired by Peru's Western Amazonia and the people who live there. It is home to hundreds of species, especially birds most people have never heard of. On the surface, the story illustrates the wonder and mystery of the rainforest. More subtly, it displays how important indigenous researchers are to the well-being of Earth's most diverse ecosystems.

Autorenporträt
Tracy Earle grew up in the south of England and spent her younger years lost in imaginary worlds, writing endless stories. She looked to inspirations such as Jo March (Little Women), Anne of Green Gables, Beatrix Potter and the Bronte sisters. In later years, Tracy took well-meaning advice to get her head out of the clouds, and swapped fictional prose for a 26-year career in the UK Police force. During this time, her writing merely consisted of operation orders and prosecution files. This, along with raising a family, meant the Children of the Light spent many years existing only in Tracy's mind and imagination. The day came however, when the Children of the Light and the Gozzits started fighting more fiercely to be freed from Tracy's mind. Finally they won that fight ... and now they are excited to be entering this world and yours!
