GOD VS. SATAN
The Fight is Already Fixed
This 12 Round Fight We Call Life

Whatever your current condition in life presents to you, whether good or bad, is not by happenstance. God has divine reasons, and his plan for your life is perfect. As 2 Timothy 4:7 says, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." God already has your destiny established and it is waiting for you to claim. You have to fight that good fight, keeping the faith that God will supply your needs in hard times. God is with you although you may not feel his presence. God sometimes requires us to get out of the boat, like Peter, to show our faith and believe that he is with us. Let us get out of the boat and walk on faith as this book inspires for us to fight the good fight.

Autorenporträt
Mark A. Lanton grew up in Haverstraw, New York in a lower middle-class Hispanic neighborhood. Mark was the youngest of five boys, and they were all athletes. Mark's father succumbed to the deadly effects of alcoholism when he was nine years old, and all the weight of the family fell on his mother, Johanna. Johanna Lanton accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior when she was pregnant with Mark. Johanna was a strong believer in Christ, and she maintained her faith although life was not so easy for her in having five boys. There were times when Mark's family was on welfare then off welfare, depending on the financial circumstance. Mark's mother believed in working to support herself, so she worked and provided for her children to avoid receiving public assistance. Mark's mother worked two full time jobs, and she was the sole income for her household. Mark's older brothers were all involved in sports, so he followed their footsteps as an athlete. Mark was involved in programs that were sponsored by the local police department, and he started in the boxing program when he was 11 years old. Mark enjoyed boxing and he was pretty good at it. The police told Mark that if he wanted to continue to box, he had to stay out of trouble. Mark stayed out of trouble and boxed throughout his teen-age years. Mark graduated high school in 1984 and left home for the Army two weeks after graduation. Mark became an Army boxer, All-Army boxing champion and Armed Forces boxing champion. Mark represented the United States on the U.S National Boxing Team, and competed against other countries boxing teams. Mark was discharged from the army in 1992 and moved back home to New York where he became a Police Officer. Mark continued to serve his country as he joined the Air Force Reserves. In 1995, Mark re-located to Pensacola, Florida as he transferred his job. After 9-1-1 hit, Mark was called to active duty multiple times and deployed overseas to the Iraq war as a Combat Medic. During Mark's second tour to Iraq, he wrote The Fight is Already Fixed.
